Who is Reverend Paul Cowley?

http://alphacanada.events.s3.amazonaws.com/221/PaulCowley_0.jpgPaul Cowley is the U.K. Executive Director of Alpha for Prisons, Caring for Ex-Offenders and Alpha for Forces. Before coming to know Jesus, Paul lived an intense life. He had a troubled adolescence, lived on the streets, served a prison sentence, had a 15-year career in the Army, became a fitness trainer and then came to faith in Jesus on an Alpha course. 

Paul also supervises various areas of Social Transformation at Holy Trinity Brompton, including "The Regeneration Trust" located on The World's End Place estate in London.

Why is he coming to Canada?

Paul has a vision to inform and enthuse Canadian church pastors and lay people to get involved with Alpha for Prisons and Caring for Ex-Offenders. He will explain the principles and impact of Alpha for Prisons and Caring for Ex-Offenders, as well as explore the challenges and rewards both ministries face.

How can your church benefit from attending one of these events?

Who is invited to these information sessions with Paul Cowley?

These sessions are open to everyone who has a heart for Alpha and is interested in learning more about Alpha for Prisons and Caring for Ex-Offenders. 

Of the 13,280 offenders currently incarcerated in Canada, 74% will be released back into the community. (Correctional Services of Canada, January 2010)
