Nick Lee (Org Chair)
- Allocation of rooms. Provided floor chart (now on web site org. chart)
- Cooks will do all resources.
- Billetting of visitors. We need two more hosts.
- Event insurance will be required. [Nick later obtained this at $250]
- Audio-visual equipment- Need to know seminar speakers' requirements [Tony
has since provided a list with speaker tel nos, e-mails and some equipment needs]
- Clarification of seminars. [A later conversation Elaine / Hardy / Tony firmed up
on the seminar names, removing alternative venue Alpha from what will now be called
Inter-church Alpha]
- Change of team head: John Wright has taken over from Peg O'Connor as Stewarding
Team Head.
At this time we are very appreciative of the large amount of work dome by Peg
recruiting all of our stewarding volunteers to date. We welcome John to the team.

Jenny Moore (Registrar)
- Registration is at 61 (17 volunteers).
- Anticipating between 200 - 275 delegates
- Some volunteers have resigned
- Jenny needs names of attenders at Sally's VIP lunch on Oct 27, so she can
make up badges [Action: Tony]
- Due to her father's ill-health in UK, there is a distinct possibility that Jenny may
have to go to UK at short notice. Chris Allen will assist with the resulting vacuum.
Tony Liuzzo (Catholic liaison)
- Archdiocese approved package to go to all R.C. churches
- Msgr Leonard Lunney has accepted Sally's VIP lunch invitation
Don Krull (Worship Leader)
- Confirmed all was well on the music and P/A front. A good proportion of the music
will be standard Alpha songs, and all music will be familiar stuff.

Fliers etc to all Catholic churches in Archdiocese mail packages
Fliers to all 66 United Churches in the Ottawa presbytery last week

churches - next Sunday if possible (Oct 14). Also please

- Additional proposal for advertizing -:
(a) 1 ad in Ottawa Citizen two weeks from now in business section -
5" x 5" - Cost $1260. Not approved at this time, will review in 2 weeks.
If it does go in, the Business Section was agreed.
- A Church Bulletin insert is in development
[it went up on the site Oct 6.
Anyone reading this, PLEASE print it off (front and back of a page) and take
to your church office and get them to put it in for next Sunday Oct 14. I
realise our price goes up $20 on Oct 12 and for this reason the insert quotes
the higher prices. But if you take it to your church by Oct 11 it might
encourage immediate registrations. They can be faxed to 591-1509 if they
include a fax of the cheque, to be sent in by mail.]
- I would like to commend some remarkable work being done in telephone follow-up
by Janette Sears-Poulain. She is contacting a very large circle of churches,
Sunday school teachers, and other groups telling them about the conference.
