Planning for the Ottawa Alpha Equip & Refresh Conference, 8,9 September, 2006 Venue Tony announced that both The Met and St. George’s Anglican on Metcalfe had offered to host the conference. We discussed the pros and cons and decided on St. George’s. Pastor is Rev David Crawley, secretary is Marcia McLelland, 235-1636. St. George’s was the first church in Ottawa to run Alpha.

Keith Preston: Treasurer Ginger Cochran: Testimonies, and publicity in the Almonte, Arnprior, Ottawa Valley Areas (tbc).
Speakers We have enough local talent for most of the speaking, but we will ask Alpha Canada to appoint one key speaker to be parachuted in. (Action Tony). This should help keep costs down. We will select speakers for both Track 1 and Track 2 presentations and for seminars. It is possible that Alpha Canada may require us to make use of more of their resources than this…
Worship team Dan Thiessen was suggested as our music leader and I am glad to report that subsequent to our meeting he has agreed to fulfill this role with his musician friends. His tel no is 828-8685. I have connected him with Dave Leibold, St George’s PA technician.
