Harry Baker's reflection on the SOMA Mission to Ottawa

Harry was Mission Co-ordinator in Ottawa

The full impact of the Team's presence, presentations and personal ministries may never be fully realized!

I would like to share a few that I know about:

- Joshua's presence and statement at the Doiocese of Ottawa Synod were very influential - a native lady from western Canada expressed a new hope for healing of her First Nations people and realized that it would only come through experiencing transformation through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She wanted to take home a copy of the Transformations II video to show her people.

- People in the churches visited after hearing of the Team's experiences expressed a new relevance in God's promises through Holy Scriptures that they had lost confidence in.

- A particular group that came on the last night had lost its church buildings and was struggling to be reborn in a new location, expressed a confidence that God was with them in their new endeavours.

- One of the billets who is not a Christian (yet!) has been asking a lot of questions about Jesus and the Christian faith since the visit. He is anxious to show the Transformation II video to other family members and to as many of his friends as possible. He can't wait to visit Pond Inlet!

- An elderly lady at St. Matthews (with poor hearing) was so impressed with Joshua's humility she gave a large personal donation.

- A lady in Pembroke had a vision of a revival spreading all across Canada being fed from the North.

Our God is awesome!

In His service,
Harry Baker
